Earth Day 2009

The Clean Water Coalition of the Wabash Valley participated in the 11th Annual Earth Day Celebration at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College on Saturday, April 18, 2009.  Kids colored their own “Don’t Trash the Bash” t-shirts and were given information about healthy homeowner habits for clean water.  By practicing healthy household habits, homeowners can keep common pollutants like pesticides, pet waste, grass clippings, and automotive fluids off the ground and out of storm water and our Wabash River.
